Men’s Hockey Ready To Challenge MIAC Leader Hamline This Weekend Posted on February 11th, 2011 by

Gustavus senior defensemen Mitch Carlson will play his final regular season series against Hamline this weekend. Carlson has one goal and two assists in seven games against the Pipers over his career.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team is set to take on 13th-ranked and MIAC leading Hamline University in a away/home series this weekend.  The Gusties and Pipers will square off on Friday night at 7:15 p.m. at the Warner Coliseum in St. Paul.  Friday’s game will conclude a four-game road-stand for the Gusties.  Gustavus will return to home ice on Saturday night for game two at Don Roberts Ice Rink at 7:05 p.m.

Gustavus enters the weekend in fourth place in the MIAC with 14 points at 12-7-2 overall and 6-4-2 in the MIAC.  Hamline leads the conference with 18 points at 12-4-5 overall and 7-1-4 in the MIAC.
