Freshman Zach May registered three goals and an assist for four points against the Auggies last weekend.
After taking three points from Augsburg, the Gusties will look to stay hot as they face Saint John’s this weekend in a home/away series. Gustavus will take on the Johnnies at 7:05 p.m. on Friday night in St. Peter. On Saturday, the Gusties will travel to Saint Cloud, Minn. for the second game of the series beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the National Hockey Center located on the campus of St. Cloud State University. Gustavus enters the weekend in a three-way tie for first place in the MIAC with 10 points alongside St. Thomas and Hamline. The Gusties have an overall record of 10-5-2 and MIAC record of 4-2-2. The Johnnies are currently at the bottom of the conference standings with four points at 3-12-0 overall and 2-4-0 in the MIAC.
