The Gustavus football team came away with a decisive 42-14 victory over Hamline on Hall of Fame Day Saturday in St. Peter, Minn. Logan Becker was 15-for-22 for 184 yards and three touchdowns through the air, while running nine times for 59 yards in the game. Jeffrey Dubose gained 202 yards on 21 carries (9.6 avg) and one touchdown, while safety Brad Kruckeberg recorded six tackles and two picks.
The Gustavus women’s soccer team got its first MIAC victory of the season by defeating St. Catherine 1-0 on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Gustavus’s Liz Underwood scored the game-winning goal off an Ashley Anderson assist in the 42nd minute of the match.
The Gustavus volleyball team dropped three straight sets to St. Catherine University on Friday night in St. Paul and suffered its fifth straight league loss. The Gusties lost the first set 15-25, the second set 22-25, and the third set 29-31.

The Gustavus volleyball team suffered another heartbreaking conference loss falling to Hamline by the score of 3-2 (25-23, 25-23, 16-25, 16-25, 15-11) in St. Paul on Wednesday night.
The Gustavus volleyball team slipped past Bethany Lutheran College 3-0 in Mankato on Monday evening. All three sets were very competitive with the Gusties prevailing 25-23, 26-24, and 25-22. Angela Ahrendt and Janey Helland led the Gustavus attack with eight kills each.
Gustavus Adolphus women's golfer Katie Schenfeld has earned MIAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors for her first place performance at the 2010 MIAC Championships held Oct. 1-3 at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn.
The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s golf team stayed the course and finished strong in day three, winning the 2010 MIAC Women’s Golf Championship for the third year in a row on Monday at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn. Katie Schenfeld earned individual medalist honors for the second consecutive season.
The Gustavus men’s golf team shot a 304 in the final day of competition at the 2010 MIAC Championships to finish in fifth place overall with a three-day total of 922 (+58). The Gusties shot a 306 on day one and a 312 on day two.
The Gustavus Adolphus College Athletics Department has chosen nine individuals for induction into its Athletics Hall of Fame. This group will be honored at the Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet, which will be held in Alumni Hall at 6:00 pm this Saturday, October 9, following the Hall of Fame football game against Hamline at 1:00 p.m.
