The Gustavus women’s cross country team continued to run at the front of the pack and posted a third place finish in a strong field of 14 teams at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield on Saturday.  The Gusties placed five runners in the top 25 including Kate Eggers in 11th, Kim Rostvold in 14th, Brooke Beskau in 16th, Liz Hauer in 19th, and Laura Secor in 25th.  Gustavus, which scored 85 points, finished behind first place Minnesota-Duluth with 27 points, and second place St. Olaf with 48.

“I am excited that this group continues to run strong and gain confidence with every meet.” stated head coach Dale Bahr.  He added, “We are competing with many of the top teams in the region and holding our own. We will get another good test next weekend at the Roy Griak Invitational.”
