Nick Ross Leads Men’s Cross Country Team At All-American Invitational

Nick Ross posted finished 12th out of 187 runners with a time of 21:05 to help the Gustavus men’s cross country team post an eighth place finish out of 11 teams at the All-American Invitational hosted by Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

Nick Ross posted finished 12th out of 187 runners with a time of 21:05 to help the Gustavus men’s cross country team post an eighth place finish out of 11 teams at the All-American Invitational hosted by Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.  The Gusties posted a team score of 185, while UW-La Crosse finished first with 36 points.

Coach Dale Bahr was excited about Ross’s performance. He commented, “Nick really ran a strong race.  We haven’t had frontrunner with the men for a few years and it was exciting to see Nick run with the lead pack.”

The top seven runners for Gustavus included Ross, Anders Bowman (37th – 21:34), Carson Smith (44th – 21:48), Mark Bartley (45th – 21:49), Jeremy Kuhn (47th – 21:59), Alex Thornton (51st – 22:06) and Adam Lund (54th – 22:26).
