Men’s Golf In Second Place After First Day of the Bobby Krig Invitational Posted on April 19th, 2010 by

The Gustavus men’s golf team fired a first round score of 302 and trails Saint John’s, which posted a score of 296 at the 13-team Bobby Krig Invitational being hosted by the Gusties.  The first round was played at The Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan.   The tournament concludes with 36-holes at Le Sueur Country Club on Monday.

Stephen Gross of Saint John’s fired the low round of the day with an even par 72.  Coby Rowley of the Gustavus Black team and Mark Giorgi of Saint John’s are tied for second at 73.
