The Gustavus volleyball team wrapped up its challenging MIAC weekend road trip with a 3-1 loss at St. Ben’s on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties were trying to post an impressive weekend sweep of ranked teams after defeating #22 Concordia on Friday, but came up short against the Blazers. The set scores were 19-25, 25-23, 18-25, 16-25. Gustavus is now 11-15 overall and 3-6 in the MIAC.
Angela Ahrendt led the Gusties in kills with 14, while Malea Noennig registered 40 set assists and Jenny Ewert contributed 20 digs.
