The Gusties suffered a disappointing 33-21 loss to Bethel University on Saturday afternoon at Lloyd Hollingsworth Field. Senior quarterback Jordan Becker rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Gusties.

 

Men’s Soccer Edges Augsburg 1-0 On Goal By Mark Adams

Mark Adams scored his fifth game-winning goal of the season as the Gustavus men's soccer team posted a 1-0 win over Augsburg. Gustavus finishes the season 9-6-3 overall and 6-3-1 in the MIAC.

 

Men’s Hockey Team Opens Season at MIAC Showcase

The Gustavus men's hockey team will open its 2009-10 season this Saturday and Sunday at the MIAC Showcase which will take place at the Bloomington Ice Gardens. Gustavus will play Bethel on Saturday at 8 pm and Augsburg on Sunday at 5 pm.

The Gustavus men's and women's cross country teams will take part in the MIAC Championships this Saturday at Como Park Golf Course in St. Paul, Minn. The women's race is scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m. with the men's race to follow at 3:15 p.m.

 

Volleyball Pushes #10 St. Thomas, But Falls 3-1

The Gustavus volleyball team battled #10 St. Thomas for four sets, but after the Gusties won the first set 28-26, the Tommies won the next three sets by the scores of 25-21, 25-23, 25-20 and claimed the match 3-1.

 

Ashley Anderson Scores Three Times To Lead Women’s Soccer Team To 4-0 Win Over Hamline

Ashley Anderson scored three goals to spark the Gustavus women's soccer team to a 4-0 win over Hamline in St. Paul on Wednesday afternoon. Goalkeeper Jessica Richert registered the shutout for the Gusties.

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore forward Mark Adams (Waukee, IA) has been named MIAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week for his three goal performance in the Gusties' 4-3 win over Bethel on Friday.
