The Gustavus women’s golf team sits in first place after the first day of the Doug Georgianni Memorial UW-Eau Claire Invite. The Gusties ended the first day with a seven shot advantage over second place UW-Eau Claire in the 21 team tournament after the team opened round one with a score of 306. Gustavus senior Kali Griggs is the individual leader after she shot an opening round score of 73 (+1). Teammate Ann Jackson ended the day tied for third with a 77, and Katie Schenfeld and Amanada Woodhull are tied for fifth as they each fired opening round scores of 78. Gustavus finishes round two on Sunday, September 6.
