Gustavus is the #1 seed in the 2009 MIAC Softball Tournament
The Gustavus softball team is the #1 seed in the MIAC Post-Season Tournament, which will be played Friday and Saturday in Winona, Minn. Saint Mary’s University will serve as the host. You can listen to the Gustavus games on KNUJ Radio (860 AM), however the KNUJ broadcast will not be available on the internet. You can listen to the games on the internet through the tournament website courtesy of Saint Mary’s sports information. Live stats will also be available.
GUSTAVUS TOURNAMENT NOTES: The Gusties enter the MIAC Tournament having won a school-record 33 games, a feat accomplished with a regular season-ending 9-1 win over St. Scholastica on Monday. The 33 wins are one more than the previous school mark of 32 set in 2007.
