Ricky Copeland
Gustavus Adolphus College junior Ricky Copeland (Mahtomedi, Minn.) has been named the MIAC Golfer of the Week for the second consecutive week by the league’s golf coaches. Copeland shot 74-70-144 (even par) to finish fourth out of 91 golfers at the Wartburg Invitational in Waverly, Iowa last Friday and Saturday. Copeland’s total of 144 helped the Gusties finish fourth as a team with a total of 303-296–599 in the 18-team tournament. Copeland’s total of 70 on Saturday was the low round of day two.
