Billy Schultze
Gustavus Adolphus College first-year Billy Schultze (Mankato, Minn./East) has been named co-MIAC Swimmer of the Week with Nathan Young of Macalester College. Schultze won two individual events and was a part of one winning relay at last Saturday’s Saint John’s Winter Invite. Schultze posted a season-best time of 1:01.94 in winning the 100 breaststroke. He also won the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:17.82 and was a member of the 200 Medley Relay team that finished first in a time of 1:38.12.
Schultze and his teammates will take this weekend off before returning to action at the UW-Stevens Point Invitational on Friday and Saturday, January 23-24.
