The Gustavus women’s cross country team finished 17th out of 36 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota at the Les Bolstad Golf Course in Minneapolis on Saturday. The Gusties were led by by Brooke Beskau who placed 36th in a time of 23:51. Beskau improved her time by over last year as did teammate Kelly Chaudoin who placed 85th in a time of 24:40.
The rest of the top seven for the Gusties included Vanessa Jones (91st, 24:44), Danielle Burgmeier (110, 24:59), Kathy Westergren (115, 25:08), Kim Rostvold (154, 25:42), and Megan Lundgren (161, 25:50).
