Senior Kimbra Kosak
Gustavus Adolphus College senior Kimbra Kosak (Grand Rapids, Minn.) has been named the MIAC Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week by the league coaches. Kosak shot 78-75–153 to finish in fourth place in the Southwest Minnesota State Invitational in Marshall, Minn. In a field of 15 Division II teams and only two Division III teams, Kosak’s nine-over-par led the Gusties to a fourth place team finish. As a team, Gustavus finished with a 322-315–637 (+61). The Gusties are ranked third in the most recent Golf World/NGCA Division III Coaches’ Poll of the fall season behind Methodist and Southwestern.
