Men’s Golf Team Finishes 12th at Rain Shortened Saint John’s Invitational Posted on September 14th, 2008 by

The Gustavus Gold team finished 12th with a total of 325, while the Black team finished 16th with a total of 333 at the Saint John’s Invitational on Sunday. The tournament, which was shortened from 36 holes to 18 holes due to heavy rain on Saturday, was played at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club in Sartell, Minn. Ricky Copeland led Gustavus individually with a 77, which was good for 19th place.

The Gustavus Gold and Black teams will take part in the UW-Eau Claire Invitational next Saturday and Sunday.
