Former Gustie Eric Butorac Wins First Round Doubles Match At Wimbledon

Former Gustavus tennis standout Eric Butorac (Class of 2003) teamed with partner Ashley Fisher (Australia) to defeat Yves Allergo (Switzerland) and Sebastian Pietro (Argentina) 5-7, 6-4, 6-4, 6-7(4), 7-5 in a first round match at The Championships at Wimbledon in London, England on Monday afternoon (Monday night in London).

Butorac and Fisher will now face Tuesday’s winner of James Auckland (Great Britain) and Jamie Delgado (Great Britain) and ninth-seeds Lukas Dlouhy (Czech Republic) and Leander Paes (India) at a time to be determined.
