Doubles title with a win over the #3 seeded team of Filip Marinkovic and Andrew Thomson of Middlebury, 7-6 (2), 7-6 (3) in a quarterfinal match on Saturday afternoon. Bryan and Paukert will now face Ben Stein and Amrit Rupasinghe of host Bates on Sunday afternoon at 2 pm (EST). The winner will play for the NCAA Division III Doubles Championship at 4 pm (EST).

Bryan and Paukert, who finished fourth at the ITA Small College Championships last fall, were unseeded in the doubles draw after being ranked fourth in the ITA National Doubles rankings for most of the season. The Gusties will play in front of a boisterous crowd on Sunday who will turn out to cheer on their own Ben Stein and Amrit Rupasinghe. Bryan and Paukert enter the semifinal match with a record of 30-8, while Stein and Rupasinghe enter with a record of 22-9.
