The Gustavus women’s golf team dropped into a tie for eighth place at the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships on Thursday at Centennial Oaks Golf Club in Waverly, Iowa after shooting a team score of 322. The Gusties have a three-day total of 323-323-322–968. First place Methodist University is 27 strokes ahead of the second place team with scores of 307-309-299–915. Kimbra Kosak jumped into the top ten individually with a third round score of 72 for a total of 80-76-72–228. Susan Martin of Methodist leads the individual scoreboard by two strokes with a three-round total of 74-72-75–221.

Gustavus will tee off at noon on Friday for the final round of the four-day tournament.
