The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced Gustavus Adolphus head coach Scott Moe has been named the MIAC Men’s Golf Co-Coach of the Year on Monday, May 12. Senior Jordan Hawkinson (Sr., Lindstrom, Minn./Chisago Lakes) was selected for the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team.

Moe led the Gusties to their 25th MIAC Championship in school history with a team total of 880 (+16) at Bunker Hills in October. The Gusties also had team titles at the Augsburg Invitational (17 teams) and the Wartburg Invitational (18 teams) during the season. Hawkinson led Gustavus with a stroke average of 74.8 this season heading into the 2008 NCAA Championships, which are being held at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Ga.
