The Gustavus men’s cross country team placed fourth out of five teams at the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Bison Open. The Gusties posted a team total of 90 points which was 47 points behind first place finishers South Dakota State University and Minnesota State University, Moorhead (43). Junior Dan Foley (Minneapolis, Minn.) turned in a 10th-place finish with a time of 21:34.10 in the 6,000 meter race.

Other finishes for the Gusties included John Leaf (Jr., Center City, Minn.) finishing 14th (21:45.29), Jeremy Kuhn (Fy., St. Michael, Minn.) finishing 29th (23:05.67), Nick Ross (Fy., Hastings, Minn.) finishing 34th (23:27.69), Carson Smith (Fy., Prior Lake, Minn.) finishing 36th (23:30.35), Dan Grannes (Fy., Apple Valley, Minn.) finishing 37th (23:49.37), and Mark Hartman (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) finishing 40th (24:18.47).
