Aaron Kahl
Aaron Kahl, the assistant men’s basketball coach and assistant director of intramurals at Gustavus, has been named the head women’s basketball coach at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota. He will begin his new duties immediately.
Kahl, a 2000 graduate of Gustavus, has been an assistant basketball coach for the Gusties for the past six seasons including five years with the women’s basketball program and last year with the men’s program.
He becomes the 11th coach in the history of the DWU women’s basketball program. He replaces Ann Konechne, who resigned the position at the conclusion of the past season. Dakota Wesleyan has compiled a 395-464 overall record in 32 seasons of women’s basketball.
