Senior defender Andrea Peterson (White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored with 32 seconds remaining in overtime to lead the third-ranked Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team to a 1-0 victory over Lake Forest College Friday night in Lake Forest, Ill. Christine Wicker (So., Burnsville, Minn.) picked up the lone assist on the play.

Sarah Windhorst (Fy., Eden Prairie, Minn.) stopped ten Forester shots to improve to 4-0-0 on the season with a pair of shutouts. Lake Forest’s Sally Bevis also played well in net, making 34 saves before allowing the game-deciding goal.

Gustavus outshot Lake Forest 35-10 overall and the teams went a combined 0-for-14 on the power play during the game.

Gustavus (9-1-0) and Lake Forest (7-2-3) will conclude the weekend series Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in Lake Forest.
