Lauren Hom, Sierra Krebsbach Advance at ITA Regional Tennis Tournament

Senior Lauren Hom advanced to the singles semifinals and the doubles final with partner Sierra Krebsbach at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional Tournament being played at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

Women’s Golf Has Opening Round Washed Out by Weather

Due to severe weather conditions and poor course conditions, Saturday's first round of the Division III Midwest Classic has been cancelled. The tournament will move to a one-day, 18-hole format on Sunday, Sept. 24 at Troy Burne G.C. in Hudson, Wis.

Football Evens League Mark With 20-8 Win at Hamline

The Gustavus Adolphus football team evened its Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference mark at 1-1 Saturday with a 20-8 victory at Hamline. The Gusties trailed 8-6 at the half, but rallied with two third-quarter touchdowns. Gustavus is now 2-1 overall and hosts St. Olaf (4-0, 2-0 MIAC) next Saturday during Hall of Fame Weekend. The Pipers fall to 1-2 overall, 0-2 in the MIAC.

Men’s Soccer Falls to St. John’s 1-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team suffered its first defeat of the season falling to St. John's 1-0 in St. Peter on Saturday afternoon. The Johnnies scored the lone goal of the game on a penalty kick at the 63:45 mark of the contest. Gustavus falls to 5-1-1 overall and 2-1-0 in the MIAC.

Women’s Soccer Tops Saint Benedict 1-0 For First MIAC Win

The Gustavus Adolphus women's soccer team moved its Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference record to 1-2-1 and knocked the College of Saint Benedict from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 1-0 victory over the Blazers in St. Joseph on Saturday. First-year Becca Hagen scored the game's lone goal with a shot in the second half that found the top corner of the goal. The Gusties are now 3-4-1 overall, while Saint Ben's is now 4-1 overall, 2-1 in the MIAC.

Women’s Cross Country Finishes 11th at Griak Invite, Harren Finishes First Individually

The Gustavus women's cross country team finished 11th out of 32 teams at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities on the Les Bolstad Golf Course. Hailey Harren led the way for the Gusties as she finished first in a time of 22:07.

Video Stream Will Be Available for Gustavus vs. St. John’s Men’s Soccer Match on Saturday

The Gustavus men's soccer team will play Saint John's University in a key MIAC matchup on Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 pm in St. Peter. The Gustavus athletic department will video stream the match so interested parties can watch and hear the game over the internet.

Volleyball Defeats Augsburg 3-1 To Claim Fifth Straight Win

The Gustavus women's volleyball team improved to 11-3 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC with an impressive 3-1 (30-25-24-30, 30-27, 30-28) over Augsburg in Minneapolis on Friday night. Jen Thelemann led Gustavus with 19 kills, 3 blocks, and 8 digs.

Women’s Tennis Set to Take Part in ITA Midwest Regional at Luther

The Gustavus women's tennis team will take part in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional this weekend which is being hosted by Luther College. Due to weather conditions, the tournament will be played at three locations including Owatonna Tennis Club, St. Mary's University (Winona), and Luther College.

Volleyball Match At Augsburg Will Be Broadcast Over the Internet

The Gustavus volleyball team will play Augsburg College in an important MIAC match on Friday evening, September 22 in Minneapolis beginning at 7:00 pm. You will be able to listen to the match through the Augsburg Athletics website. Tom Witschen will handle the play-by-play duties for Augsburg.
