Men’s Cross Country Team Places Eighth at St. Olaf Invitational Posted on September 17th, 2006 by

The Gustavus men’s cross country team finished eighth out of 23 teams at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield, Minn. Dan Foley led the Gusties for a second straight week as he finished 40th in a time of 27:56.

Uw-La Crosse won the team title with a score of 52, while the Gusties posted an eighth place team score of 243.

Other individual finishes for Gustavus included Chris Delaugenfels placing 46th (28:09), John Leaf finishing 47th (28:10), Alex Zupan finishing 54th (28:27), John Kennedy placing 56th (28:30), Kyle Carlson finishing 61st (28:38), and Mark Hartman finishing 80th (29:08).
