Women’s Cross Country Team Finishes Sixth at St. Olaf Invitational

The Gustavus women’s cross country team finished sixth out of 19 teams at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield on Saturday. Senior Hailey Harren finished first individually and set a new course record with a time of 21:52.

The Gustavus women’s cross country team finished sixth out of 19 teams at the St. Olaf Invitational in Northfield on Saturday. Senior Hailey Harren finished first individually and set a new course record with a time of 21:52.

Other finishes for Gustavus included Sarah Bernhardson finishing fourth in a time of 23:47, Laura Edlund finishing 42nd in a time of 25:00, Val Berquam finishing 44th in a time of 25:11, Sarah Willis placing 58th in a time of 25:49, Heidi Bulfer finishing 59th in a time of 25:50, and Maari Hanson placing 74th in a time of 26:16.

Carleton finished first in the team standings with a total of 55 points. The Knights were followed by Macalester (99), St. Olaf (121), Minnesota-Duluth (129), Saint Benedict (129), and then Gustavus (144).
