Women’s Golf in First Place After First Round of MWCGA Tournament

The Gustavus women’s golf team is in first place after the first day of the Minnesota Women’s Collegiate Golf Association (MWCGA) Tournament being played at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minn. Senior Kelli Groff’s opening round 76 was the top score for Gustavus. The Gusties lead second place St. Thomas by four strokes.

The Gustavus women’s golf team is in first place after the first day of the Minnesota Women’s Collegiate Golf Association (MWCGA) Tournament being played at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minn. Senior Kelli Groff’s opening round 76 was the top score for Gustavus (second overall). The Gusties lead second place St. Thomas by four strokes.

Other contributors for the Gusties include first year Kimbra Kosak (80), junior Breanne Staples (81), senior Alana Reetz (85), and sophomore Rachel Roberg (87).

The tournament will conclude with a final round on Sunday beginning at 9:00 am.
