Saint John’s Leads After Day One of MIAC Men’s Golf Championships Posted on October 1st, 2005 by

Defending champion Saint John’s holds a two-stroke lead over Concordia following the first round of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Golf Championships. The Johnnies fired a 13-over-par 301 on the par-72 layout at Bunker Hills Golf course in Coon Rapids, Minn. Cobber sophomore Drew Dvorak carded the low round of the day with an even-par 72. He leads Johnnie freshman Joe Daly by one stroke. Play concludes Sunday with another 18 holes.

St. Thomas sits third after shooting a 19-over-par 307 on day one, while host Gustavus trails the Tommies by one stroke.
