For the second time this season, Kelli Groff (Sr., Bloomington, Minn.) from Gustavus Adolphus College has earned the MIAC women’s golfer of the week award. The defending MIAC champion fired a 36-hole total of two-over par 146 to win the Division III Midwest Classic, held at Victory Links at the National Youth Golf Center in Blaine, Minn. The 36-hole score is a Gustavus school record, as was her final round of even-par 72, which broke the previous record she set in the first round of two-over par 74. Groff’s performance helped the Gusties win the 10-team event with a school-record 36-hole total of 624, including a final-round 311, an 18-hole school record score.
