Kourtney Joyce (Junior, Wadena, Minn.)
Gustavus Adolphus College junior Kourtney Joyce (Wadena, Minn.) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. Joyce placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a NCAA provisional qualifying time of 11:20.80 at the Manitou Classic hosted by St. Olaf College on Saturday, April 23. Her time is the fastest time in the MIAC this season and ranks her 17th overall in NCAA Division III.
The Gustavus women’s track & field team will return to action on Saturday, April 30 when it hosts the Drake Alternative in St. Peter, Minn.
