Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore Jered Hokenson (Watertown, Minn.) has been named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. Hokenson won the high jump by clearing a height of 6’8″ at the fifth annual Lee Krough Invitational at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday, April 16.

The height provisionally qualifies Hokenson for the NCAA Championships and ties a 40-year old school record. The sophomore holds the indoor track and field record in the high jump with a height of 6′ 4.75″. Hokenson also won the 400-meter hurdles at the Lee Krough Invite with a time of 57.72.
