Women’s Golf Tied For Second Place After First Day at Best Western Invite Posted on April 9th, 2005 by

The Gustavus women’s golf team is tied for second place with Winona State University with a score of 333 after the first round of competition at the Best Western Riverport Inn Invitational in Winona, Minn. The University of St. Thomas is in first place with a score of 323. Individually, Rachel Roberg leads the Gusties with first round score of 79, which is five-strokes off leader Katie Glorvigen (St. Thomas).

The invite is being hosted by Winona State University at the Cedar Valley Golf Club in Winona, Minn. Competition will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 10 with a shot-gun start.
