The Gustavus men’s cross country team placed 14th out of 22 teams at the NCAA Central Region Meet hosted by Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa on Saturday. Senior James Sorenson led the Gusties by placing 45th overall with a time 26:51.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team advanced to the sectional semifinal of the NCAA tournament by defeating UW-Whitewater 5-4 in a penalty kick shootout. The game was tied at 1-1 after 110 minutes of play so the game went to a shootout.
