The Gustavus men’s cross country team traveled to Waverly, Iowa on Saturday to compete in the NCAA Central Region Meet hosted by Wartburg College. Gustavus’ season ended with a 14th place finish out of 22 teams at the region meet. The Gusties were led by senior James Sorenson. Sorenson placed 45th overall with a time of 26:51. Sophomore Alex Zupan placed second on the team and 66th overall with a time of 27:17. Senior Brent Maganusson placed third on the team and 74th overall with a time 27:31.
