The Gustavus men’s cross country team traveled to West Salem, Wisconsin to participate in the Annual Jim Drews 8K hosted by the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse. The Gusties placed 18th out of 21 teams on Saturday.
Sophomore Alex Zupan placed 52nd with a time of 26:19.5 to lead the Gusties. Zupan has led the Gusties in every race this fall. Senior James Sorenson placed second on the team and 101st overall with a time of 27:32.4. The Gusties recorded a composite time of 2:16:53.6.
Gustavus will travel to Como Park in St. Paul to compete in the MIAC Championships on Saturday, October 30. Start time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
