Women’s Golf Places Second at MIAC Championships Posted on October 10th, 2004 by

The Gustavus women’s golf team placed second at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday, Ocotber 10 at Willinger’s Golf Club in Northfield, Minn. The Gusties compiled a score of 345-336–681 to finish one stroke behind the University of St. Thomas.

Kelli Groff recorded a score of 80-80–160 to be crowned the 2004 MIAC Individual Champion and earn all-conference honors. Erin Schliep and Kelsey Getz also earned all-conference honors. Schliep tied for seventh place with a score of 89-85–174, while Getz tied for ninth place with a score of 88-87–175
