Women’s Cross Country Places Second at MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women's cross country team placed second overall at the MIAC Championships at Como Park in St. Paul, Minn. Senior Nichole Petersen placed sixth and first-year Lydia Davitt placed tenth to earn all-conference honors.

Men’s Cross Country Places Seventh at MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men's cross country team placed seventh at the MIAC Championships on Saturday afternoon at Como Park in St. Paul, Minn. Alex Zupan led the Gusties with an eleventh place finish (27:09) to earn all-conference honors.

Football Team Drops 10-7 Heartbreaker in Overtime to St. Thomas

The Gustavus football team suffered another heartbreaking loss when St. Thomas made a 24-yard field in overtime to defeat the Gusties 10-7.

Men’s Soccer Defeats Colorado College 2-0

The Gustavus men's soccer team defeated Colorado College 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. JT Johnson scored a goal in each half to give the Gusties their 15th win of the season.

Cross Country Teams Set to Compete in the MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete in the 2004 MIAC Championships. The conference race will take place on Saturday at Como Park in St. Paul, Minn. The men will race at 2pm with the women to follow at 3pm.

Football to Host St. Thomas in Home Finale

The Gustavus football team will host St. Thomas on Saturday at 1:00 pm in St. Peter. It will mark the final home game of the 2004 season for the Gusties.

Women’s Soccer Defeats St. Thomas 1-0

The Gustavus women's soccer team knocked St. Thomas out of the MIAC Playoff picture with a 1-0 win in St. Paul. Junior forward Samantha Engh scored the winning goal in the 83rd minute. Tori Boughton recorded the shutout in the nets for the Gusties.

Volleyball Defeats St. Mary’s in Last Regular Season Match

The Gustavus volleyball team defeated St. Mary's University in four games on Wednesday (21-30, 33-31, 30-28, 30-17). With the win, the Gusties improve to 19-6 overall and 8-3 in the MIAC and enter the MIAC playoffs for the first time since 2000.

Men’s Soccer Defeats St. Thomas 1-0 and Claims a Share of the MIAC Regular Season Title

The Gustavus men's soccer defeated St. Thomas 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. to claim at least a share of the regular season conference title. J.T. Johnson scored the gamewinner for Gustavus in the 79th minute of the match.

Women’s Soccer Falls to Macalester 3-0

The Gustavus women's soccer team had its three-match unbeaten string snapped by #22 Macalester as the Scots claimed a 3-0 win in St. Peter.
