Burnsville Native Trent Larson Named MIAC Baseball Fielder of the Week Posted on April 15th, 2004 by

Gustavus Adolphus College senior Trent Larson (Third base/Pitcher, Burnsville, Minn.) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conferece baseball fielder of the week for April 5-11. Larson hit .529, scored 10 runs and drove in eight runs to help the Gusties post a 5-1 record last week. He hit safely in all five games, posted a slgging percentage of 1.117 and an on-base percentage of .433. He also hit three home runs and a double. He went 3-for-6 with a double and three runs scored in the doubleheader sweep of regionally rated Wartburg and then went 5-for 8 with 7 runs scored and 7 RBI in the doubleheader sweep over Saint Mary’s. Larson hit three home runs aainst the Cardinals as Gustavus posted 15-5 and 17-9 victories. Larson is hitting .347 this season with a .551 slugging percentage. The Gusties are currently 14-9 overall and 3-5 in the MIAC.
