Men’s & Women’s Nordic Skiing in Fourth Place After First Day of NCAA Regionals Posted on February 28th, 2004 by

Gustavus men’s and women’s nordic skiing are both in fourth place after the first day of the NCAA Central Regional Championshps in Houghton, Michigan.

Nicole Olson led the women finishing in 18th place in the 5k freestyle. The Gustie women have recorded 52 points after the first day of competition. Northern Michigan is in first place (83), Alaska Fairbanks is in second place (82), Wisconsin-Green Bay is in third place (68), and St. Olaf is in fifth place (51).

Nate Purath led the men finishing 10th in the 10k freestyle. The Gustie men have recorded 53 points after the first day of competition. Alaska Fairbanks is in in first place (84), Northern Michigan is in second place (79), Wisconsin-Green Bay is in third place (59), and St. Olaf is in fifth place (51).
