MIAC Selects Holtan as NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee

Recent Gustavus graduate Nora Holtan (Rochester, Minn.) has advanced one more step in the nomination process for the 2019 NCAA Woman of the Year. The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced Monday that Holtan is one of two former student-athletes to serve as the league’s nominees, joining Carleton’s Ziyi Wang.

Aaron Lund Named Head Track & Field Coach at Gustavus Adolphus College

Gustavus Adolphus College Athletic Director Tom Brown announced Tuesday that Aaron Lund has been chosen to become the new head coach for the men’s and women’s track & field programs, starting Aug. 1. Lund comes to Gustavus after serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Whittier College (Calif.) for the past three years.

Recent Gustavus Adolphus College graduate Nora Holtan (Rochester, Minn.) has been selected as a candidate for the 2019 NCAA Woman of the Year award. Holtan was a three-time First Team All-American for the Gustavus volleyball team and the NCAA Woman of the Year nomination adds to a long list of accolades for the Rochester product.
