Three Gusties Named to the MIAC All-Conference Team

The Gustavus softball team had three players named to the MIAC All-Conference Team. Ingrid Olson and Audrey Lenoch were named to the all-conference team for the second time of their career, while Molly Biehn was named for the third time of her career.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association named two Gustavus softball players to the 2004 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III All-Midwest Region Team. Sophomore Audrey Lenoch was named to the first team and senior Molly Biehn was named to the third team

Softball Season Ends with Two Losses in MIAC Post-Season Tournament

The Gustavus softball team lost to St. Thomas (4-2) and Hamline (5-4) on Friday afternoon and have been eliminated from the MIAC Post-season tournament. The Gusties end the season 21-17 overall.

The Gustavus softball team split with St. Ben's on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. to secure the #4 seed in the MIAC post-season tournament. The Blazers won the first game 4-2 and the Gusties won the second game 4-1.

Softball Splits With Carleton

The Gustavus softball team split with Carleton College on Thursday in Northfield, Minnesota. The Gusties dropped the first game 3-9, but won the second game 5-0. Ingrid Olson went three-for-four in game two with a three-run home run in the second inning.

Softball Drops Two at Hamline

The Gustavus softball team lost 0-6 and 0-3 to Hamline University on Sunday. The Gusties fall to 11-5 in the MIAC and 17-13 overall.

Softball Drops Two at Home Against St. Thomas

The Gustavus softball teams dropped two games on Saturday to conference leader St. Thomas. The Tommies defeated the Gusties 12-3 in game one and 6-2 in game two.

Softball Sweeps Bethel 9-1, 2-0

The Gustavus softball team swept Bethel College 9-1 and 2-0 on Thursday in Arden Hills, Minn. Audrey Lenoch hit her sixth home run of the season in game two, which is a school record for most home runs in a season.

Softball Sweeps Macalester 4-1, 19-0

The Gustavus softball team swept Macalester 4-1 and 19-0 on Monday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. The Gusties recorded 22 hits in the two games to improve to 9-1 in the MIAC and 15-9 overall.

Softball Team Sweeps the Cobbers, 2-0, 10-2

The Gustavus Women's Softball team swept Concordia College 2-0 and 10-2 on Saturday afternoon in Saint Peter, Minn. In the first game, Molly Biehn struck out 13 batters and allowed only three hits to record her third shutout of the year.
