Women’s Nordic Skiing Places Second at NCAA Qualifier #4

The Gustavus women's nordic skiing team tallied 141 team points to place second at the fourth NCAA qualifier of the season. The Gusties had six skiers place in the top 20 in the classic and freestyle races.

Women’s Nordic Skiing to Compete in NCAA Qualifier

The Gustavus women's nordic skiing team will travel to Camp Ripley near Little Falls, Minn. to compete in the fourth NCAA qualifier of the season on February 12-13. The race was moved from Greystone Complex in St. Cloud due to poor snow conditions.

First-year Laura Edlund (Forest Lake, Minn.) led the Gusties on Sunday with a tenth place finish. 

Women’s Nordic Skiing Places Fouth at NCAA Qualifier #2

The Gustavus women's nordic skiing team placed fourth out of eight teams at the second NCAA qualifier of the season. The races were held Saturday, January 22 and Sunday, January 23 in Grand Rapids, Minn. at Mt. Itasca.

Chandra Daw (Junior, Duluth, Minn.) is a top returner for the Gusties. 

Women’s Nordic Skiing Set to Compete in NCAA Qualifier

The Gustavus women's nordic skiing team will travel to Grand Rapids, Minn. to compete in the second NCAA qualifier of the season. The qualifier will take place at Mt. Itasca with the freestyle race on Saturday and the classic race on Sunday.

Scott Jerome Named MIAC Men’s and Women’s Nordic Ski Coach of Year

Scott Jerome has been named the MIAC Men's and Women's Nordic Ski Coach of the Year. This is the third time Jerome has been named the women's coach of the year and the first time for the men.

Ingrid Olson Named Women’s MIAC Nordic Skier of the Year

Ingrid Olson (Senior, White Bear Lake, Minn.) was named the Women's MIAC Nordic Skier of the Year on Wednesday, March 10. The skier of the year is determined by adding up the points from five CCSA races and the conference championships.

Women’s Nordic Ski Team Finishes Fourth in the NCAA Central Regional Championships

The Gustavus Adolphus women's nordic ski team finished fourth place in the NCAA Central Regional Championships held in Houghton, Michigan. Nicole Olson finished 18th in the 5k freestyle race and Kristen DeVries finished 17th in the 15k classical race.
