Women’s Golf Takes Third Place At Wartburg Invitational
The Gustavus Adolphus women's golf team recorded a two-day team score of 674 (+102) to finish third at the Wartburg Fall Invitational held on Saturday and Sunday at the Centennial Oaks Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa. The Gusties shot a 331 on day two, as UW-Eau Claire shot a 319 for a two-day total of 648 (+76) to take first place.
Men’s Golf Wins Wartburg Invitational
After completing 27 holes of golf on Sunday, the Gustavus men's golf team won the 18-team Wartburg Invitational with a two-day score of 306-300--606 in Waverly, Iowa at Centennial Oaks Golf Course. The Gusties edged Maryville (MO) by three strokes as the Saints shot a two-day total of 306--303--609. Jordan Hawkinson (Sr., Lindstrom, Minn.) paced Gustavus with a score of 74-74--148, as he finished second individually. Nick Profancik of Maryville earned medalist honors with a two-day total of 72-67--139.
Men’s Golf To Play Nine Holes At Wartburg Invitational On Saturday
The Gustavus men's golf team will play nine holes at the Wartburg Invitational in Waverly, Iowa on Saturday. The 22-team field will play 27 holes on Sunday to complete both rounds of golf. Due to a shotgun start on Saturday and scores from nine holes , team scores will not be available until Sunday.
Women’s Golf Wins Wartburg Invitational
The Gustavus women's golf team kicked off its spring schedule with a first-place finish at the Wartburg Invitational at Centennial Golf Course, site of the 2008 NCAA Women's Golf Championships, in Waverly, Iowa on Sunday. The Gusties shot 319 on the second day of competition for a two-day total of 329-319--648, which was 18 strokes ahead of second-place finisher Illinois Wesleyan. Gustavus was led by Rachel Roberg, who finished fourth with a total of 80-80--160.

The Gustavus women's golf team shot 329 to lead the field of eleven teams after the first day of the Wartburg Invitational at the par-72 Centennial Oaks Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa on Saturday. Wisconsin-Eau Claire finished the day at 335, six strokes behind the Gusties, while Illinois Wesleyan shot 337. Rachel Roberg, who is tied for second place individually, paced Gustavus with a score of 80.
Women’s Golf Team Wins Wartburg Invitational
The Gustavus women's golf team posted an impressive first place finish at the 14-team Wartburg Invitational which was held this past weekend in Waverly, Iowa. Individually, Kali Griggs claimed medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 74-73-147. Teammate Kimbra Kosak finished tied for third at 76-83-159, and Rachel Roberg finished in a tie for sixth at 77-83-160.

The Gusties fired a first round score of 309 and hold a nine stroke lead over second place Illinois Wesleyan. Gustavus sophomore Kali Griggs is in first place individually after posting a round of 74.
