The Gustavus Adolphus gymnastics team is set to host the 2010 WIAC Women's Gymnastics Championship, which will be held on Sunday, March 7, at 3:00 pm in St. Peter, Minn. This will be the 37th WIAC Gymnastics Championship. The event will take place in the Lund Center Forum. Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Children 10 under and adults 65 and older are free.

The Gustavus women's hockey team built a 4-1 lead and then held off a late UW-Stevens Point rally to claim a 4-3 win at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter on Tuesday night. Junior defender Sara Yungner led Gustavus with two goals, while first year forward Tam Meuwissen tallied the game-winner at the 6:35 mark of the third period. The Gustavus women's hockey team battled the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point to a 2-2 tie in overtime on Tuesday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink on the Gustavus campus. The Pointers held 1-0 and 2-1 leads in the game, but the Gusties battled back to tie the score each time. This is only the third tie in the 18-game history of the series between the Gusties and the Pointers. Gustavus is now 8-1-2 on the season and UW-Stevens Point is now 7-1-3.

The Gustavus men's hockey team scored three goals in the third period to defeat 13th-ranked UW-Stevens Point 6-3 on Saturday night in Stevens Point, Wis. Special teams played an important part in the win as the Gusties recorded two power-play goals and one shorthanded goal. Several players got in on the scoring as six different players accounted for the goals, while David Martinson and Ross Ring-Jarvi led the way with one goal and two assists each.

The Gustavus women's soccer team allowed two first half goals in a 3-1 loss at UW-Stevens Point on Friday afternoon. The loss marks the first defeat of the 2008 season for the Gusties. The Pointers controlled played for the majority of the match outshooting Gustavus 37-5. Sophomore forward Ashley Anderson scored the only goal for the Gusties in the 54th minute.
