Gustavus Women’s Hockey Versus UW-Stevens Point Selected As National Women’s Game of the Week by USCHO
US College Hockey Online (USCHO) will begin its fourth season of the Women's Game of the Week by broadcasting the Gustavus women's hockey game against UW-Stevens Point Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 pm in St. Peter. Gustavus is ranked #3 in the USCHO Preseason Poll, while UW-Stevens Point is ranked #7. This match-up is one of two Division III games broadcasted this season by USCHO. Brian Schulz, a broadcaster at the 2001 and 2004 World Women's Hockey Championships, will handle the play-by-play duties.
Andrea Peterson, Margaret Dorer Named to Division III All-USCHO First Team West; Kelly Crandall Tabbed for Second Team
Gustavus Adolphus College defenders Andrea Peterson and Margaret Dorer have been named to the 2007 Division III All-USCHO First Team West as announced by USCHO.com Thursday. Senior forward Kelly Crandall was a second-team selection. Top-ranked Plattsburgh State (N.Y.), the host for this weekend's NCAA Division III Women's Hockey Championship, also had three players recognized.
