The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Fall 2011 Academic All-Conference honorees Wednesday and 32 Gustavus student-athletes were recognized for their strong athletic performances and excellence in the classroom.
Gustavus Adolphus women’s golfer Taylor Drenttel (Eagan, Minn.) has been featured on the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s Student-Athlete Spotlight. The Spotlight highlights student-athletes from across the conference each Tuesday and Thursday. Gustavus golfer Taylor Drenttel (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) earned MIAC Women's Golf Athlete of the Week honors after leading the Gusties to a first place victory at the Division 3 Classic over the weekend. Drenttel won the tournament with a 153 (+9), her lowest round of the season.
