The Gustavus men's soccer team cruised to a 5-0 victory over Saint Mary's on Tuesday night in Winona, Minn. thanks to a hat-trick by senior defender Justin Eglseder. Gustavus improves to 9-1-0 overall and 3-1 in the MIAC, while Saint Mary’s drops to 1-6-1 overall and 0-4 in the MIAC.

 

Softball Tops Saint Mary’s 11-5, Falls 10-2 To St. Thomas In MIAC Championship

The Gustavus softball team defeated Saint Mary's 11-5, yet fell to St. Thomas 10-2 in the MIAC Playoff Championship on Saturday afternoon in St. Paul. The Gustavus softball team finishes the 2011 season with an overall record of 27-14-1.

Softball Set To Take On Saint Mary’s In Opening Round Of MIAC Playoffs

The Gustavus softball team is set to battle Saint Mary's in the opening round of the MIAC Playoffs on Friday, May 6 at 2:30 p.m. in Arden Hills, Minn.

Monday's doubleheader with Saint Mary's was designated as Strike Out Cancer day at the Gustie Softball Field.  The Gusties wore pink uniforms to help raise awareness for breast cancer prevention. 

Softball Splits With Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus softball team came back to win game two and salvage a split against Saint Mary's on Monday afternoon in St. Peter. The Cardinals took game one 4-1 and Gustavus came out victorious 5-0 in game two. Gustavus moves to 23-12-1 overall and 16-3-1 in the MIAC, while Saint Mary’s moves to 20-14 overall and 13-7 in the MIAC.
