Men’s Hockey Drops 3-2 Decision To Saint John’s
The Gustavus men's hockey team fell to 3-2-0 overall on the season Wednesday night with a 3-2 loss to Saint John's at the National Hockey Center in St. Cloud. Jon Keseley and Tim Ornell scored for the Gusties, which allowed three Johnnie power play goals in seven attempts. Gustavus will open its MIAC slate with a pair of home games versus Concordia next weekend, December 2-3.
Men’s Soccer Draws With Saint John’s 2-2
In a battle of regionally rated foes, the Gustavus men's soccer team played Saint John's University to a 2-2 tie. The Gusties entered the match rated third in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas West Region poll, while the Johnnies are rated tenth in the same poll. Gustavus moves to 4-1-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Saint John's is now 6-0-1 overall, 2-0-1 in the MIAC.
