Men’s Indoor Track and Field Has Strong Showing At Pre-MIAC Meet
The Gustavus men's indoor track and field team turned in a solid performance at the Pre-MIAC Meet hosted by Macalester College on Friday in St. Paul. No team scores were kept at the six-team meet, which included Bethel, Carleton, Concordia, Hamline, Gustavus, and host Macalester. The competition was the final meet before the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Concordia College next weekend in Moorhead, Minn.
Women’s Indoor Track and Field Dominates Field Events At Pre-MIAC Meet
The Gustavus women's indoor track and field team won each of the six field events at the Pre-MIAC Meet hosted by Macalester College on Friday in St. Paul. Janey Helland highlighted the day for the Gusties as she broke her own school record in the long jump with a NCAA provisional qualifying distance of 18' 1.5". No team scores were kept at the six-team meet, which included Bethel, Carleton, Concordia, Hamline, Gustavus, and host Macalester.
Men’s Track and Field Competes at Carleton’s Pre-MIAC Meet
The Gustavus men's indoor track and field team picked up 16 top-three finishes, including five wins, at Friday's Pre-MIAC Invitational hosted by Carleton in Northfield. For many league schools, the meet served as the final competition before next weekend's MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, also hosted by Carleton.
