Kelly Crandall Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College senior forward Kelly Crandall has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conferernce Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending March 4, 2007. Crandall scored three goals in two MIAC Playoff games to help lead the Gusties to their fourth consecutive playoff crown and a berth in the NCAA Division III Women's Hockey Championship.

Jenny Pusch Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore forward Jenny Pusch (Minneapolis, Minn./Holy Angels) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending January 28, 2007. Pusch scored five goals, including three on the power-play and both game-winners, to lead the Gusties to a weekend sweep of Bethel.

Kelly Crandall Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus senior Kelly Crandall has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 10, 2006. Crandall, a forward, scored five goals and an assist to lead the third-ranked Gusties to a weekend sweep over Saint Mary's. The weekend was highlighted by Crandall's second career collegiate hat trick on Friday.

Kali Griggs Named MIAC Women’s Golfer of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College first-year women's golfer Kali Griggs has been named Women's Golf Athlete of the Week by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the week ending Oct. 1, 2006. Griggs finished second individually and led the Gusties to a second-place team finish at the Best Western Riverport Classic at Winona's Cedar Valley Country Club.

Roberg Named MIAC Women’s Golfer of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Rachel Roberg (Rice Lake, Wis.) has been named MIAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the week ending September 3, 2006. Roberg earned co-medalist honors at UW-Eau Claire Invitational, setting new 18- and 36-hole personal bests with her score of 77-75--152. This title marks the first collegiate win for Roberg, who finished 13th at the 2006 NCAA Championships.

Madson, Click Named MIAC Players of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College senior baseball player Aaron Madson and first-year softball player Rachael Click have been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week in their respective sports for the week ending April 23, 2006.

Lenoch, Konicek Named MIAC Softball, Baseball Players of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus softball player Audrey Lenoch (Sr., Pine Island, Minn.) and baseball player Tony Konicek (Jr., Rochester, Minn.) have been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference players of the week in their respective sports for the week ending April 16, 2006.

Doyle Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore women's hockey player Molly Doyle (Eagan, Minn.) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 20, 2006. Doyle tallied five points (2g, 3a) to help the Gusties sweep Augsburg (7-0 and 8-2) and clinch at least a share of the MIAC regular season title.

Peterson Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey player Andrea Peterson has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29, 2006. Peterson tallied four goals and four assists in leading the Gusties to a weekend sweep of St. Olaf last weekend by a combined 22-2 margin. The Gusties (No.3 USCHO.com Division III women's poll) face No.2 Plattsburgh (N.Y.) Thursday night in Plattsburgh.

Idris Named MIAC Men’s Hockey Player of the Week

Gustavus Adolphus College sophomore forward Sami Idris (Gothenburg, Sweden/Burgarden) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 8, 2006. Idris scored a goal and five assists for six points as the Gusties swept Lawrence (5-2) and UM-Crookston (10-2) this weekend in the Gustavus Hockey Showcase. He is the third straight Gustie to be named MIAC Player of the Week after Keith Detlefsen (Dec. 5) and Mike Hosfield (Dec. 12).
