Andrea Peterson, Margaret Dorer Named to Division III All-USCHO First Team West; Kelly Crandall Tabbed for Second Team
Gustavus Adolphus College defenders Andrea Peterson and Margaret Dorer have been named to the 2007 Division III All-USCHO First Team West as announced by USCHO.com Thursday. Senior forward Kelly Crandall was a second-team selection. Top-ranked Plattsburgh State (N.Y.), the host for this weekend's NCAA Division III Women's Hockey Championship, also had three players recognized.
Andrea Peterson, Margaret Dorer Named All-Americans in Women’s Hockey; Peterson Named Division III Player of the Year
Gustavus Adolphus College senior defender Andrea Peterson and junior defender Margaret Dorer were recognized by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) as 2007 RBK Hockey Division III Women's All-Americans Thursday evening. Peterson was also named the 2007 recipient of the Laura Hurd Award given annually by the AHCA to the College Division Women's Hockey Player of the Year.
Andrea Peterson Named MIAC Women’s Hockey of the Week
Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey player Andrea Peterson has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 25, 2007. Peterson scored a goal and two assists in last weekend's sweep of the College of St. Catherine (7-2; 5-1), becoming the MIAC's all-time leading scorer (all games) in women's hockey in the process.

Gustavus Adolphus junior defender Andrea Peterson (White Bear Lake, Minn.) has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending March 5, 2006. Peterson scored two goals and added an assist for three points as the Gusties defeated St. Olaf 3-1 and St. Thomas 2-1 in overtime to claim the MIAC Playoff Championship last week.

Gustavus Adolphus College women's hockey player Andrea Peterson has been named Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 29, 2006. Peterson tallied four goals and four assists in leading the Gusties to a weekend sweep of St. Olaf last weekend by a combined 22-2 margin. The Gusties (No.3 USCHO.com Division III women's poll) face No.2 Plattsburgh (N.Y.) Thursday night in Plattsburgh.

Angie Peterson, a junior two-time all-conference guard on the Gustavus Adolphus College squad, was named honorable mention NCAA Division III Kodak/WBCA All-America.
